"The design focuses on the kitchen. We don’t have indoor seating, just outdoor areas that foster a strong connection to the action happening behind the counter," she explained.

"My vision was never about mass production or speed, but rather about crafting something small and purposeful. A cozy corner where individuals can take a moment to unwind, savor something sweet, and momentarily escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life."

This intention resonates throughout the baking process as well. Many of Christiana's skills were passed down from her mother, who now collaborates with her, creating an atmosphere that feels more like stepping into a family kitchen than a conventional bakery.

"I hope visitors are embraced by the comforting scent upon entering. I want them to pause for a moment to chat, ask questions, and truly enjoy the ambiance of the space," she added.

When it comes to recommendations, Christiana finds it tough to pick favorites, though she highlights the baklava layer cake as a canvas for her creativity. "And then there's the pistachio olive oil cake and the funfetti cake—lovingly dubbed the 'gayke.'"
