Welcome to the world of League of Legends, where champions rise and fall with each patch! Today, I'll be your guide through the latest developments and my personal insights on Patch 26.14.
Champions and Their Tales
Azir: This valiant falcon needs a little boost to his feathers. We're addressing some bugs and rune interactions to make him squawk a bit louder about Shurima. With changes to his 'Arise!' ability, Azir might just become a force to be reckoned with.
Corki: Our beloved aviator is struggling in bot lane, so we're giving him a power-up! An increase in attack damage growth and some love for his 'Missile Barrage' should help him soar.
Garen: The Demacian Justice is a bit too oppressive, so we're toning it down. Garen's ultimate will deal slightly less true damage, but we want to keep the fear factor intact!
Jayce: This champion has climbed the ranks and is a top pick for a reason. We're tweaking his speed and durability to keep him balanced, but his flexibility and fun factor remain intact.
Locke: The newest champion is getting a tune-up. We're reducing the pressure of his 'Ritual Nails' and toning down the healing on 'Soul Ignition' to open up more counterplay opportunities.
Mordekaiser: The Lord of Death deserves some love after losing power due to a bugfix. We're enhancing his 'Death's Grasp' and increasing his stat steal to make him a formidable force once again.
Nami: The fish out of water is getting a boost to her 'Tidecaller's Blessing' to help her make a bigger splash and find her place in the meta.
Senna: Despite nerfs, Senna is still a force in bot lane. We're focusing on her passive and scaling power to impact her support role less and reign in her AP ratios.
Seraphine: This songstress is a bit too loud in bot lane, so we're lowering her volume with a tweak to her 'High Note' ability.
Yunara: Her spirit is waning, so we're giving her some extra scaling power to find balance later in the game.
Items and Adjustments
Immortal Path: This item has been performing well, but we want to reign in its output a bit. A decrease in damage increase and healing/shielding/regeneration should make it more reasonable.
Protoplasm Harness: Overperforming across the board, we're focusing on decreasing its early spike power to keep it an exciting option for tanks.
Hextech Rocketbelt: Popular among mages, we're adjusting its stat incentives to make it less appealing compared to other damage-focused options.
Blue Buff: We want to prioritize Blue in the jungle, so we're increasing its ability haste at levels 1, 6, and 11.
Ranked Season and Events
Ranked Season 2 ends on July 28, and Season 3 begins on July 29. The Victorious Ranked mission will be refreshed, and we'll see some disruptions to LP and Ranked progression.
The MSI Cup and Summoner's Rift Clash are also on the horizon, so gather your squad and get ready for some intense competition!
Skins and Shop Updates
The T1 Worlds Winner skins will have a special release, including an exclusive emote inspired by the pros. The MVP skin, Miss Fortune, will be individually purchasable and later enter the Mythic Shop pool.
The 'Together as 1' Nexus Finisher will be available in the Mythic Shop for a limited time, and Riot will share proceeds with LoL esports teams.
Buff Bar and UI Updates
We're cleaning up the buff bar to make it more informative and less cluttered. Redundant buffs and debuffs will be removed, and item buffs will be moved to the inventory.
Bugfixes and Other Changes
Various bugfixes and adjustments, including automatic remake votes and deafen/mute functionality, are also part of this patch.
In my opinion, these changes are a step in the right direction to keep League of Legends fresh and balanced.
